About

A directory that tells you what to ask.

Most directories in this trade are written for engineers, and most exist to sell placement. This one does neither. It lists every IT, security and telecom company we hold a public record for, orders them by something checkable, and says plainly what to settle before money changes hands.

What this is

A discovery layer for Malaysian businesses buying IT support, cybersecurity, CCTV and access control, phone lines and connectivity, computer hardware, or servers and hosting. You find companies here and then deal with them directly.

We are not an agent and take no commission. There is no paid tier, no sponsored placement and no lead-selling. That is not a virtue claim — it is the reason the ordering below can be described honestly and checked.

Who it is for

The office manager whose network has stopped. The ops lead who has been asked to get three quotes for cameras. The founder who has just been told the company needs a penetration test and has no way to judge one supplier against another.

None of those people are engineers, and the trade's own language is not written for them. So every category on this site says in plain English what the companies in it actually sell, and names the one credential or contract clause worth settling first.

Where the records come from

Records are compiled from public business listings: name, address, phone, website, rating, review count, opening hours, tags and a photograph where one exists. Of the 2,200 companies here, 2,078 list a direct phone number and 1,493 link their own website.

Nothing about an individual business is written by us. There is more on that, and on how the ordering works, in how we compile this.

Who writes it

Guides and category copy are written by the Seek Tech editors — a collective byline, not a person. We deliberately do not invent a named editor with a biography. This site spends its time telling buyers to verify who they are dealing with, and it would fail its own advice the moment anyone applied it here.

Getting a listing corrected or removed

A business should be able to fix its own record without arguing about it. The process is on the corrections and removal page.

Who publishes this

The publishing entity and contact address for this site are not yet published here. That is a gap, not a policy — a directory carrying other companies' details should name who is carrying them. It will be filled in on this page.
