Fix it, or take it down.
Your business is listed here because a public record exists, not because you asked to be. That means you should be able to correct it or remove it without argument, without a phone call, and without paying anything.
What we commit to
- Removal is unconditional. You do not have to give a reason.
- Removal is free, and there is nothing to buy to reverse it.
- We will not counter-offer. Nobody will call to talk you out of it or to sell you a paid listing instead. There is no paid listing.
- A correction is not a favour. If the record is wrong we would rather know — a wrong address helps nobody, least of all a reader.
What to send
Whichever you want, include:
- The URL of the listing — copy it from the address bar.
- The business name exactly as it appears on the page.
- For a correction: what is wrong and what it should say. Phone, address, website and opening hours are the usual ones.
- Enough to show you are connected to the business — a message from an email at its domain, or from the phone number or address already on the listing. This is to stop a competitor removing your page, not to make you prove anything elaborate.
What happens next
Removal takes effect on the next build of the site, which is typically the same or the following day. Once removed, the page returns a 404 and the entry disappears from the sitemap and from every category, state and town page that referenced it.
Search engines take their own time to drop a page after it stops existing. That part is outside our control, though removal here is what starts the clock.
What removal here does not do
This site is compiled from public business records — the same underlying sources that feed maps, search results and other directories. Removing your listing here removes it from here. It does not remove your business from the original public source, and it will not change what other sites show.
If the underlying record itself is wrong, correcting it at source is worth doing as well, because that is what most other services are reading.
Where to send it
The contact address for this route is not yet published.
We would rather say that plainly than print a mailbox nobody is reading. Everything above is what the process will be, and the commitments hold from the moment the address is live. If you have found this page because you need a listing changed now, contact us through the business that operates this site and it will be actioned on the same terms.
